An increasing number of Chinese people can't live without mobile phones now. Many of them, including the elderly, make use of mobile apps to keep in touch and broaden their circle of friends. They also use mobile phones for shopping and looking for information, because mobile phones are easy to carry. In addition,it is cheaper to communicate by mobile applications than by traditional telephones. However, this new trend leads to over-reliance on mobile phones insocial life. In fact, some young people have become so addicted that they neglect the face-to-face communication with family and friends.
